Oh why brain of mine, do you insist upon placing story ideas into my head.  Especially since I've already got soo many stories that I need to finish! Well anyway.  I decided that I will post a list here in this journal of all my WIP's.  In hopes that I will see them and say "oh!  I need to go finish that!" Sometimes I want just want to scream about how badly books get beaten up over the years.  I worked in my school library during high school and couldn't count the times a book came back in with it's spine broken and I had to whisper sweet nothings as I nursed it back to health. It's not often that I find a super old book in any kind of decent condition.  But when I do, usually at my local Goodwill, I jump on them.  I've got a few really old books there, mostly old Indiana State series textbooks.  My mother has an 1830 something copy of Ivanhoe, I hate touching it.  Every time I do I worry that it's going to fall apart.  I recently bought "The

I was!  Right on the edge of it, we still lost power though.  Our power flickered off at around 6PM Tuesday night and we just had it turned back on at 2 today.  Despite the fact that everything was covered in ice and absolutely beautiful, living without our power sucked!  The first night my family and I all laid in our beds covered with as many blankets as we could find.  The next day we called into the nearest town to find a kerosene heater.  We had to travel south to the next county to find one, and they were selling like hotcakes.
